Spell Cascade

While it is easy to imagine what storm call and ice wall will look like with this new support gem. I am more curious if this is going to work with spells like glacial cascade, vortex, or either nova skill? Has there been any additional information on this gem?

Aye, what do you think of cases where vortex and ice nova are cast targeting a frost bolt? Is it possible it would have an affect in this scenario?

You get copies of the aoe skill in front and behind the area you targeted.

As you can see there are already plenty of suggestions concerning which aoe spells count for the wording:
"supports spell skills that apply an effect to an area around a targeted location"

I'm curious if this fits to glacial cascade (guess not, but let me dream) and how this will result if you combine it with conc/inc effect.

I pray that at least once this will not interact with god damn mines/traps/totems as this became already a ridiculous thing.

Thinking about it, maybe "targeted location" means every skill that is working together with your mouse cursor (at least the direction, or actually something like storm call that you place underneath the cursor location)

So in this case something like dark pact, vortex and ice nova would not be supported.
And you are not targeting a location if you cast it on frost bolt, you are targeting the frost bolt itself.

So, flameblast?

There are too less target aoe spells for the exact description... Hope it will work with all AOE spells independently on their target loc. Cross my fingers for its effect on Discharge. :)

Is that ever mentioned?
it says only that it would cast front and back of the targeted area. I don't think the distance would be increased, and that it should be possible to overlap, just like how bladefall showcase does
