Import Data to Excel

Hey all,
May not the the appropriate place for this question. Just wondering if anyone one has had any luck using a web query to get Data from poe.trade or poe.ninja into a excel spreadsheet? Or if not a web query, how? Been trying to get this working for a few hours now and not having any luck. " the forum for poe tool development is here poe.ninja used to export it's data in json format over a public api which you most likely can convert to csv/excel using (self programmed?) tools. some guys already used it to provide tools which auto compare prices with ggg's public stash api stream (which were taken down immediately), just ask/see if it's still running. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!
