How to kill thornrunner

Hi everyone,


I have a lot of trouble fighting the unique Boss "Thornrunner" in corrupted Areas. He literally oneshots me, is incredibly fast and super tanky. Every Corrupted Area boss is easy going so far, but this guy completely destorys me. What can i do to survive his shit? He Deals no elemental damage and my EHP are decent i guess.

Do he have any weakness i must abuse? I killed him two times, but it took about 30 Minutes and 40-50 Deaths. I know, he have a shield what prevents me from damaging him but I'm not able to get close enough to "break" it since he is so fast and oneshots me through my enegry Shield + Mind over Matter.

What lvl is ur char and what lvl is the area ? This corupted boss is very strong when you have low life like your char have. Remember once i had to use 15-20 tp scrolls to kill him.

Thornrunner does chaos damage, your chaos resistance is in the trashcan.

Yes, he has a proximity shield. To damage him you must get inside the bubble, or try some diversion tactics: loose the flame golem and use an ice golem, its dash move might get him inside the bubble every once in a while; cold snap traps work wonders -- a trap will damage him because it's inside the bubble, right under his belly when it gets triggered; link your arctic breath with your spell totem (add faster casting) -- it won't damage him but at least it might get his attention; don't stay near the totem or you'll be caught in the spike rain.

My Char have Level 62, (1700 HP, 900 ES + Mind over Matter Keystone) and the area was 60 or 61.
Traps are the weakness I was looking for. Next time I will try it this way.
