Mana flask bug during boss fights

I’ve had several T15 boss fights that on full flasks (life and mana) the mana flask greys out and can’t be used before I’ve had a chance to even use it. Is this a boss mechanic I’ve never heard of? Anyone else experienced this, or have any info? thanks
