Checkpoints make the game too easy

Hello,

I played this game for a while now and I realized that the most fun I have, for example when playing my warrior, is when I have to be careful not to get hit by mobs, like using the shield block mechanic to avoid getting hit, optimizing my items and build so I can mitigate damage properly, only swinging my large two-handed mace when the timing is right and the mobs missed an attack just now or are stunned.

All of this falls apart if the game is too easy. I start just slashing no matter the consequences and there is no need for me to avoid getting hit.

And I feel the fact that ckeckpoints refill all of your flask charges makes the game too easy in that regard. I want to be challenged more than is currently happening, by getting empty flasks more often, which doesn't really happen at all as is now.
