Can't zoom out on atlas map post patch 0.1.1

My atlas map won't allow me to zoom out anymore. It will however let me zoom in like 500%. I have uninstalled, reinstalled. I see others streaming and being able to zoom out but have also heard others complaining about the same issue. Is this a bug? is there a workaround? it seems like the old workaround doesn't work anymore...
