I tried it out today and holy cow we give up so much area, mana recovery, etc that the quality of life of the build feels gutted. I would advise only do this switch if you can reasonably make up for it through cluster jewel rolls. Plus adding the clarity to make up for it causes us to lose another gem slot, so keep that in mind for variants that may have been using a CWDT or something.

" nam9xz, I don't normally do gear reviews on the forum, but I was checking on a post anyway and saw this and had a minute. Without looking at your tree, there's a bunch of suboptimal gear here. Your ring and belt have 0 Energy Shield mods on them and your belt has a big life mod that isn't helping you. Your boots and gloves have very low Energy Shield overall. You want somewhere between 125 and as close to 200 as you can get. Hey Guys,
First time vortex here an I'm loving it! I'm asking myself if I should switch to LL at all. I feel very comfortable with CI and can do T16 maps easily (ok bosses take some time...). Is the damage-output of LL a lot higher or can I reach similar levels by maxing my CI gear? I am especially fond of those: I am a dirty casual not sitting on a fortune to just try it out. Thanks to my first mirror shard ever I could do the switch and then sell my body armor and my amu. OR I could simply improve the gear of my CI (+2 wand with cold dot). |
