Orbs Bound to Account - medicine for broken economy
Not sure binding currency would achieve much. It would be better to just bind w/e segment of items to achieve a desired effect. Div cards being bound so a player could actually farm them for example.

" Well "ideally" you would find the other cards because they would be balanced for a self found player, not for people that just buy the rest to complete. Div cards are basically a failed implementation of a feature that was requested, that being said I don't think there is a way to make most of them actually "good" without making them broken. "I would have guessed divination cards. Like Brittle Emporer would be a high value currency and something common would be a low value currency. Might even end up being the cards that give the currency like Rain of Chaos or the Hoarder. But regardless of what becomes the currency, it will be something. The D3 item revamp improved that game. It actually feels rewarding to earn items/progression by killing monsters in D3.
But D3 wasn't built with sufficient complexity in combat mechanics, itemization, skills/character development. The overall mechanics are too simple. If PoE had offline support with mod capability, I'd be playing a vastly improved solo game (since mods are typically solo). As-is, progression (drop quality, crafting outcomes, enchanting) balanced with trade is creating big problems in the permanent leagues, since population numbers are so low. The permanent leagues feel really unrewarding to play in. Never underestimate what the mod community can do for PoE if you sell an offline client.

" Imo D3 isn´t dying .. just a lot of bots/people trading for profit went away (mostly bcos of Rmah gone). The best solution would be 2 permanent leagues One with trade in AH style. no need for account bound things just a reliable crafting system,the reason why people prefer to buy items over crafting them is becouse the only way to craft something is with a freaking dice roll that 99% of the time gives you nothing.
crafting should be like this: orb to upgrade items base, cant be used on uniques or corrupted items "x" orb to upgrade items base up to lv 40 "y" orb to upgrade items base lv 41- 60 "z" orb to upgrade items base lv 61+ select a new mod to be added to a white item cost "x" transmutations adding a second mod will cost "x" augmentations adding third and fourth mod will cost regals 5+ will cost exalts note: all mods added start with the lowest value upgrading mods, 1 mod at a time so multiply this x6. will start with a low alteration cost and will progresivily increace, as the mod increace it will start asking alchs and chaos. this will solve 2 problems, it makes crafting reliable aswell as creat a huge currency sink to reduce inflation. self found league fan http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/324242/page/1 Zuletzt bearbeitet von caboom#7201 um 11.07.2016, 14:47:23

GG hurray there is no more inflation ( no more players either, but who cares ) ! ( It would also make the first leveling through the game much more boring ) SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.
